Caitlin got invited to a 16th birthday party at a hotel. The plan was for her to wear her red dress that looks amazing on her. The day of the party we were at the mall, and Caitlin wanted to look at dresses. When we found this one at Dillard's and it was on sale, we had to buy it! A very grown up look.

We celebrated Ashtyn's 12th birthday at Traildust Restaurant. At least she still enjoys the slide. (The real reason she picked there!)
We also had a few girls spend the night the Friday after her birthday. We ordered a cake from Alberson's. It was supposed to be chocolate cake and was supposed to look like this:
When we first picked it up, the decorations were all purple. When we took it home and cut into it, it was WHITE cake. We ended up with a free half gallon of Blue Bell ice cream, and a $15 dollar gift card to Albertson's. We also ended up with a free cake for my birthday. I just didn't get to take a picture of it. Sorry!
