This was my view of Catlin most of the way to Alabama and back. Listening to her iPod. She also finished a book she had to read before school starts in the fall. This is what Ashtyn looked like most of the way. She watched movies on a portable DVD player and slept. Claudia, I'm sure you recognize that blanket as a cross-eyed bear quilt made by your mom!

The drive there and back wasn't too bad. Once you get out of Texas and past Shreveport and Bossier City, it's mostly rolling hills and forest. We stopped for the night both ways, so the girls got to swim.
Ashtyn and Kylie decided Lola needed a bath, whether Lola wanted one or not! Kylie is 11 months younger than Ashtyn, and the two of them got along great.

Tonya's boys, Jarrod and Loggan, have more transformer toys than I knew existed! My girls were very slow to get the hang of it, compared to the boys!

Isabella, Kylie, Jarrod, Loggan, Ashtyn, and Caitlin. This is the only picture I took of Terry, with Ashtyn.
T and T.

Thumbs up for Texas! We decided Texas had the best Welcome Center, since we stopped there, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
